Subban named FC Defenseman of the Month

Future Considerations announced today that Jordan Subban of the Belleville Bulls has been named draft eligible Defenseman of the Month for February.

Subban, who currently sits sixth in all Ontario Hockey League defensemen in scoring, boasted an incredible February after scoring six goals and adding nine assists for 15 points in just 12 games. His totals include four multi-point games.

Subban, the younger brother of NHL defenseman P.K. and Boston Bruins goaltending prospect Malcolm, has 15 goals and 49 points in 61 games this season.

For his efforts, Subban has been named Future Considerations’ draft eligible Defenseman of the Month for February.

Also considered for the honour was Shea Theodore of the Seattle Thunderbirds. Theodore had five goals and 11 points in 13 games in February and is eighth in scoring among Western Hockey League blueliners with 16 goals and 43 points in 60 games.
