The Ontario Hockey League’s entry for the Subway Super Series will have plenty of 2014 NHL Draft talent to watch.

A total of 29 players have been selected, including a trio of top prospects for June’s draft.

Aaron Ekblad, second in Future Considerations October ranking for the 2014 NHL Draft, will be highly featured in the exhibition. Ekblad is a dynamic force and is effective as offensively as he is defensively, punctuated by six goals and 13 points in 14 games this season.

Joining Ekblad is Oshawa Generals pivot Michael Dal Colle, who has nine goals and 23 points in 15 games this season. Ranked sixth by Future Considerations, Dal Colle uses his imposing frame and natural talent to aid his production.

Sam Bennett of the Kingston Frontenacs was also named to the team. The 17-year-old has 10 goals and 22 points in 14 games this season and is ranked fifth by Future Considerations.

Nick Ritchie (7th) and Blake Clarke (14th) were among those not named to the team.

Connor McDavid, eligible for the 2015 NHL Draft, was also named to the team, assembled by Jeff Twohey of the Generals, and Owen Sound Attack General Manager Dale DeGray with consultation from Hockey Canada head scout Ryan Jankowski.
