Canada continues to be plagued by nagging injuries during its National Junior Team Selection Camp.

Star Jonathan Huberdeau arrived to the camp in Calgary in a walking boot and has yet to step onto the ice at the WinSport Athletic & Ice Complex.

Huberdeau will undergo further x-rays to determine how well his broken foot has healed.

Portland Winterhawks forward Brad Ross skated on his own this morning. Ross didn’t participate in the Red vs. White game last night but did skate on his own this morning. He is described as having a lower-body injury.

The news on Returning veteran Brett Connolly is a little brighter.

Connolly left practice yesterday morning with dehydration but did play last night. Unfortunately, Connolly hit the boards hard in the third period and did not return. The good news on Connolly is that his injury is not serious and he will. He a game-time decision in tonight’s game.
