A goal-scoring forward. Skates well with good speed, but can have games where his feet seem sluggish. Has some good lateral agility and the ability to make defenders look silly with a quick cut. Could stand to add more leg strength and lengthen his stride. Has nice hands and can be hard to knock off the puck despite his lack of size. Sees the ice well with the ability to make a crisp, accurate pass but his real strength is finishing off the play. Has a nice shot that is off his stick quickly. Seems to always be involved in the play and works his tail off. His level of competition was not the best this year and he has a ways to go yet, which will affect his draft ranking but he has the potential to become a very good pro one day and is worth a pick in these middle rounds.
