The skilled winger with a non-stop motor has shown grit and willingness to work hard for his chances. Kugryshev has soft hands and nice on- ice vision. He can carry the puck into the offensive zone and has nice one-on- one skills. He has a decent shot with a quick release and impressive cycle game on the wall. Physically he needs to mature and add strength. He needs to add leg strength to help his acceleration and top speed as he possesses just average skating. Kugryshev needs to make it known if he intends on coming over to North America or if he will be content to stay and play in Russia. (May 2008)
