Bobby Brink of the Sioux City Musketeers has been named United States Hockey League Player of the Week for the week ending April 7.
Brink, 22nd in Future Considerations’ Spring ranking for the 2019 NHL Draft, had five points (two goals, three assists) and a plus-5 rating in two games.
He is the first player in USHL history to earn three consecutive forward of the week honors, and has tied the league record for career awards with five. The last player to accomplish this feat was Rem Pitlick, who was later named USHL Player and Forward of the Year for the 2015-16 season.
Brink, 17, leads Sioux City in points, and is fourth in the USHL with 67 points (35 goals, 32 assists) in 42 games.
