USA Hockey announced the rosters which will comprise Team Johnson and Team Mullen at the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game on Tuesday.

The event, set for the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh next Thursday, will feature 40 players eligible for the 2014 NHL Draft in Philadelphia. They will be divided up between Team Johnson and Team Mullen, both former Pittsburgh Penguins.

Among the top prospects on Team Mullen will be Blake Clarke who is Future Considerations’ top-ranked American-born prospect heading into the season. Team Mullen also headlines forward Austin Poganski (26th) of the Tri City Storm, defenseman Anthony DeAngelo (29th) of the Sarnia Sting, Shane Gersich (31st), and goalie Thatcher Demko (38th).

Demko will be starting college in the Fall and views the prospects game as not a confidence boost but a chance to stay focused.

“I would not view it as a confidence boost at all, though,” he told the event’s website. “You’ve got to stay focused on what’s coming up and can’t really look at the past”.

Team Johnson features defenseman Jack Glover (18th) of the United States National Team Development Program U-18 squad. Other prospects playing for Team Johnson include , Shane Eiserman (32nd), Sonny Milano (37th). Milano is rising quickly up the ranks.

Players were selected to compete in the second annual CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game by USA Hockey. This is done in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting.
