He skates well and is a rangy player…he is a good passer who finds his options quickly and can carry the puck up ice…has nice hands and a good shot…he plays with a calming influence on his teammates…uses his stick and body positioning well to breakup plays…willing to battle it out and take a hit to make a play…he is intelligent. Some think his game is on the soft side and that his game lacks an edge…his size is not suited to play a physical role. (May 2009)
