Size strength and a long reach make him a steady defender…an aggressive edge makes him hard to play against…he skates well both forwards and backwards…can handle the puck and make a smart pass…has a cannon of a shot…mean in front of his net when traffic drives through…the sky is the limit with this kid as he has so much potential. He has some mobility issues especially when moving laterally to his left…has trouble with quicker forwards who force him sometimes take penalties…needs a step up in his competition. (May 2009)
