The hard working, big-bodied Jenks has shown signs of becoming a constant threat in both zones this season. He has a physical bite to his game with the ability to delivering a big hit and battling it out in the corners. He drives to the net with and without the puck and plays smart as well as physical along the wall. He has a very hard shot and is not afraid to shoot. He plays a very effective role on the PK and uses his good straight line speed and long reach effectively in that area. Jenks is a battler who works hard both on and off the ice. He is good in the face-off circle but his game is better suited as a north-to-south winger. (May 2008)
