22 eligibles invited to Team USA camp

Twenty-two players eligible for the 2013 NHL Draft have been invited to participate in the United States National Junior Evaluation Camp.

The camp, set to take place August 3-10 at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, NY, is highlighted by Adam Erne and JT Compher, 28th and 29th respectively in Future Considerations’ Final Ranking for the 2013 draft.

The two forwards will be joined by Jimmy Lodge, Justin Bailey, John Hayden and Michael McCarron, all ranked in the second round by Future Considerations. Taylor Cammarata, the USHL’s Forward and Player of the Year, also earned an invite.

The defense will be headlined by potential first rounders Keaton Thompson, Steven Santini and Tommi Vannelli. Ian McCoshen and Brett Pesce also earned invites.

The full list of draft eligibles also includes Connor Clifton, Will Butcher, Andrew Copp, Hudson Fasching, Jake Guentzel, Matt Lane, Tyler Motte and Quentin Shore.

Goaltenders will be evaluated in their own camp in Ann Arbor, MI from June 9-11 before identifying which will participate at Lake Placid.
