Now, the injury bug that has ravaged the 2012 NHL Entry Draft crop has hit No. 1.

Sarnia Sting standout Nail Yakupov, the top-ranked prospect for the 2012 draft, is out after being on the receiving end of hit from Saginaw Spirit left winger Garret Ross.

Yakupov, who is third in OHL scoring with 16 goals and 43 points, has yet to be officially diagnosed.
