Sioux City Musketeers forward Eeli Tolvanen will not participate in the 2017 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game because of injury.

Tolvanen, seventh in Future Considerations’ Winter ranking for the 2017 NHL Draft, had two goals and six points in six games representing Finland at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship. Finland finished ninth in the tournament, their worst placement in any IIHF competition since 1955.

Tolvanen has 16 goals and 27 points in 23 games for the Musketeers this season.

He will be replaced by Madison Capitols forward Kamil Sadlocha. Sadlocha has four goals and 10 points in 26 games.

The 2017 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will take place on Jan. 10 in Sioux Falls, SD at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
