Minny tourney primed for scouts
While the Minnesota High School State Tournament is considered a holiday to the majority of the region’s citizens, the tournament is considered work time for scouts to evaluate some of the top talent that the State of Hockey has to offer.
Minnesota HS crop on par with 2011
The 2011 NHL Entry Draft was the first in seven years that a Minnesota high schooler wasn’t selected among the first 30 picks, however the draft saw 11 selected among the 211 picks in Saint Paul, headlined by Mario Lucia of Wayzata.
