Henrik Samuelsson has returned to North America.
After starting the year in the Swedish Elite League, Samuelsson is convinced he’s best developed with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League.
Under the eye of father Ulf with Modo, Samuelsson had just two assists in 15 games. In Edmonton, the six-foot-two winger will have plenty of opportunity and is expected to receive top-six minutes with the Oil Kings.
Samuelsson is no stranger to life in North America. Born in Arizona, the 2012 draft eligible forward spent last season as a member of the United States National Team Development Program.
