Sam Reinhart will captain Canada once again.

Head coach Don Hay announced Friday that Reinhart has been named captain of Canada’s National Men’s Under-18 Team for the 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship.

Reinhart is no stranger to wearing the ‘C’ for Canada. He captained his country to a gold medal finish at the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial.

The 17-year-old is widely considered a top-5 pick in the 2014 NHL Draft.

Hay will name Reinhart’s assistants after two pre-tournament games against the United States on April 14th and the Czech Republic on April 16th.
