According to multiple sources, Calgary Hitmen import Victor Rask will be among the names listed when Sweden announces its roster for the 2012 World Junior Championship.

Though Rask couldn’t confirm, the Carolina Hurricanes prospect is excited at the thought.

“I’m very relaxed but it’s a hard team to make,” Rask said. “They have not told me. I’ve done my best.”

Rask would be playing on home ice, sort of. Sweden is in Pool A in Calgary.
