Victor Rask has signed a three year, entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes Thursday.

The Hurricanes selected Rask in the second round, 42nd overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He is currently a member of the Western Hockey League’s Calgary Hitmen, leading the club in scoring with six goals and 10 points in eight games.

He joined the Hitmen via the CHL Import Draft, selected third overall in 2011.
