With the 28th overall selection in the National Hockey League Draft, Future Considerations selects…

…Tyler Toffoli.

He’s a first-year pro, but Tyler Toffoli is quickly asserting himself in a positive manner in the Los Angeles Kings organization. Drafted 47th overall in 2010, Toffoli put up a near point-per-game pace in the American Hockey League after leading the Manchester Monarchs with 28 goals.

Toffoli wasn’t bad in 10 games with Los Angeles, either. The 21-year-old had two goals and five points in 10 games this season and has chipped in with four points in nine games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The two-time 100-point man with the Ottawa 67s has asserted him well in his young and promising career.
