Since being drafted 39th overall in 2011, Gibson’s stock has soared. The 19-year-old dominated the 2013 World Junior Championship, named the tournament’s best goaltender and most valuable player. The Kitchener Rangers standout parlayed his gold medal-winning performance at the World Juniors into a role with Team USA at the World Championship where he helped the Americans earn bronze.
