Jesse Puljujarvi, third in Future Considerations’ February ranking for the 2016 NHL Draft, will miss two to three weeks because of a lower-body injury.

Puljujarvi was injured during Karpat’s 3-1 loss to IFK on Friday.

The 17-year-old right wing has 13 goals and 28 points in 50 games for Karpat in Liiga.

Puljujari helped lead Finland to gold at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship. He dominated the tournament, posting five goals and 17 assists in seven games to lead the tournament. He was the highest-scoring under-18 player at the tournament since Jaromir Jagr had 18 points in 1990.

The 6-foot-3 forward was named the best forward and most valuable player of the tournament.
