Provorov named Crash Top Defenseman

Press Release2015 Draft Center, Tournaments & Events

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CALGARY, AB – Future Considerations Hockey today announced Ivan Provorov of Russia (Brandon Wheat Kings) as the World Junior edition of the Crash Conditioning draft eligible Defenseman of the month for December.

Provorov represented the silver medal-winning Russians well in the tournament. Though he only registered one point in seven games, the 17-year-old flourished in a limited role.

“While he was neither a big flashy puck rushing offensive guy nor a big physical threat, Provorov was the safe and calculating puck mover Russia needed to get the puck up ice to its speedy forwards with heady passes,” Future Considerations scouting director Dan Stewart said. “He kept things nailed down in his own zone by making the right play not always the sexy play. Showed a real mature mindset that will translate well to the next level.”

The 17-year-old sits 14th overall in Future Considerations’ December ranking for the 2015 NHL Draft.

Crash Conditioning has become the biggest secret in the hockey performance world as an elite hockey player performance training center specializing in strength and conditioning, speed and power, recovery, flexibility, nutrition, injury rehabilitation, movement and motor skill as well as on ice experts in skating, goaltending and tactical play.
