An undersized but highly skilled two-way defenseman who shows the ability to play in all situations…a quarterback on the back end…possesses great hockey sense, and skating ability…constantly keeps his head up and looking for the smart simple pass…delivers crisp outlet passes…slows the play down showing great patience and allowed his team’s breakout to form before feathering a nice breakout pass to turn the play up ice…couples his great offensive ability with equal caliber defensive ability…shows poise and never panics and constantly makes the right play…shows great leadership…communicating with his teammates…defends using an active stick…adept at poke checking the puck off an attackers stick and out of danger…a heads-up defender who does a good job anticipating defensively but does not roam out of position to make a play…needs to improve his strength to be more effective in his own zone…must continue to develop but has two-way pro upside.
