Robak is big offensive defender with a powerful and fluid stride which allows him to effectively rush the puck up the ice. He has great vision and sees the whole sheet of ice well which allows him to be an excellent playmaker on the backend. Robak is one of the best passers in the draft and can set-up at the point on the PP and also use his hard accurate shot if the passing lanes are closed. Defensively his positioning is sound and he used his stick well. He blocks shots and also supports his defensive partner well. (May 2008)
