A two-way defender with a hard shot and solid defensive positioning…skates well and has good recovery speed…has some offensive upside and can jump into the play as an extra attacker…has a good hard shot…makes good accurate well timed passes…solid defensive smarts…is competitive and battles hard…willing to play physical and lay the body with a well timed open ice hit. Size is not ideal for the way he plays…can run out his options when the puck is on his stick…has been caught running around in his own zone. (May 2009)
