Myers’ immense height and reach make him an imposing defender for attacking forwards to get around. He skates like a five-foot-11 forward and has great mobility and agility for such a big guy. Myers has a booming shot from the point that is also accurate. He possesses good stick checking ability and defensive awareness. Myers has shown glimpses of a dominant physical game down low and along the boards although he is not overly aggressive by nature. Has the ability to start the breakout with either carrying the puck or a solid safe first pass. Myers works hard and has really come along way from the beginning of the season. (May 2008)
