The Danish defender has good defensive instincts and work ethic. Larsen is not afraid to get his hands dirty with physical play in his own zone and plays a safe mature overall game. He can jump up intro the rush and has a decent point shot. He makes a good first pass, skates well and makes good decisions under pressure. Larsen’s upside is limited as he is not flashy and does not possess high end skills. He is small and needs to add strength and a few inches would not hurt either. He does not have good recovery abilities without a long reach and great speed. (May 2008)
