The average sized goaltender has the uncanny ability to keep everything in front of him by using solid positioning on not only the first shot but second and third chance shots as well. Delmas has solid fundamentals and knowledge of angles that allows him to cut down on open net through aggressively challenging shooters. His small butterfly style makes sure that there are no holes with which a puck can get through. He has great lateral mobility that is both quick and allows him to keep his butterfly tight. Delmas is a quiet and calm guy on and off the ice and he doesn’t get rattled by much. He has loads of potential on which to build upon as he is solid on his skates and has a good core of technical abilities with which to add to. (May 2008)
