Filatov has a great attitude and is a real team player. Slick moves, blazing speed and a great shot with a quick release pretty much sum up his game. He skates well and has a few extra gears over most of his competition. Aggressive in his approach he likes to be in the middle of the play regardless if it is physical or finesse style. He is creative with the puck and has awesome vision that he uses to set up line mates. Will play in the dirty zones and drive the net with abandon. He is responsible defensively and full of enthusiastic energy. Filatov is a goal- scorer who plays a well rounded and complete game. (May 2008)
