A true puck-rushing defenseman, Del Zotto skates well and has great offensive instincts. He is highly skilled at carrying the puck with good stick handling and elusiveness that allow him to gain the zone effectively. The prototypical power-play quarterback has a good hard, accurate shot and has outstanding vision which he uses to dish out crisp passes. His natural offensive ability can’t be taught.
