Speed to burn, explosive acceleration and more strength make defending this guy a more difficult task this year. Still a little lacking on the shot but it is getting better. Makes some good offensive plays off his speed. Much more willing to jump into the physical battles and dig for the puck. Has impressive vision and offensive creativity with the puck. Makes nice passes but still needs to improve that shot to take his game to the next level. Strong understanding of the three zone game but needs to up his intensity level and commitment to backchecking. Added some good weight over the summer but more is needed before he moves to the pro ranks. (May 2010)
