Has very good size and the raw skills to play a solid two-way game from the backend. Doesn’t mind playing physical and has some good offensive skills as well. Joins the rush often and has a good shot. Skates very well and uses his speed to gamble offensively and then be able to quickly retreat defensively. Needs to work on his handling of the puck as he tends to throw it away when he senses any type of pressure. Still has lots to learn about all aspects of the game. (May 2010)
