A heart and soul type of character player… will do whatever it takes to win including sacrificing his body…has good vision and the ability to make crisp passes…goes to the net and attacks the boards…reads the play well…skates well but lacks top end speed…is quick on loose pucks and makes smart passes to open linemates…handles the puck well…follows the play back and is effective breaking up plays in the neutral zone. Possesses below average size and injury concerns are valid with the style he plays…needs to improve his shot as it lacks velocity and a quick release. (May 2009)
