Denisenko is a quick, creative, smart offensive winger…he skates hard, and fast, with an explosive ability to accelerate…has a smooth, almost effortless stride…good top speed and elusive with quick burst in all directions…is creative offensively…a natural goal-scorer and is always looking to position himself for a perfect shooting spot…absolutely relentless in his pursuit of the puck…possesses a dangerous shot with velocity…has a lightning-quick release and does not hesitate to fire the puck when he has an open shooting lane…moves around the ice like a veteran without the puck…drives hard to the net when a play is developing from the outside, to give his teammates an open passing option, and is always thinking about puck retrieval, should his team turn it over, maintaining good zone position throughout his shift…possesses good vision and poise…although he tries to support his defense and play responsible, he can float around in his own zone and needs to engage more actively…has NHL upside as an offensive winger.
