A great skater from the Biega school of competitiveness. A fluid skater. Possesses vision and defensive awareness. Uses his stick to work the boards but will also use his body. Can move the puck up ice and make a strong outlet pass. Not afraid to make a hit or take a hit to move the puck. Meat and potatoes type of defender. Works hard and has a high intensity level on the ice. Lacks many of the offensive abilities that would translate to the next level. (May 2010)
