One of the toughest prospects in the entire draft, Paquette plays a solid physical game with some added offensive abilities. He has a decent shot and can finish as well as bull his way through to the net. He plays hard in the corners and is strong on his skates. He is a fierce player who looks for the fisticuffs and is good at squaring off. Paquette’s skating is sub par and he needs to play more consistent defensively. He can be liability when he looses focus and takes bad penalties. Danick has a tendency to be hot and cold and needs to have a fire lit under him from time to time. (May 2008)
