Trivino has good overall mobility and handles the puck very well in and out of traffic. He has outstanding on-ice vision and can perfect tape-to-tape passes through traffic. He has a great attitude and is willing to play physical along the boards as well as driving to the net. He is good at faceoffs and also reads the defensive side of the game well. While his natural instinct is to find a teammate with the puck he can also finish with those soft hands around d the net. (May 2008)
