A small but intense competitor who takes after his father Steve Thomas. Will go to war despite his size and has a feisty attitude. Has better wheels than his father. Goal scorers shot and ability to create something out of nothing. Elusive on the ice and dodges the big hits. Willing to play physical but lacks size to be effective in that area. Consistently keeps his feet moving. Goes to the net and battles for the puck along the wall. Skates with strong balance and hard to knock off the puck. (May 2010)
