Foote, Patrick invited to Canada’s summer camp

Nolan Patrick and Cal Foote have been invited to participate in Canada’s National Junior Team summer evaluation camp in Toronto, ON from July 30-Aug 2, and Plymouth, MI from Aug 3-6.

Both are eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft.

Patrick, the top-ranked skater in Future Considerations’ preliminary ranking for 2017, had 41 goals and 102 points in 72 regular season games, and 13 goals and 30 points in 21 playoff games to help the Brandon Wheat Kings to a Western Hockey League championship in 2015-16.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward has previously represented Canada Red at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, and at the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial tournament.

Foote had eight goals and 36 points in 71 regular season games, and nine points in 18 playoff games with the Kelowna Rockets last season, his first in the WHL. Foote, who has dual citizenship, has yet to represent Canada internationally.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound blueliner is the son of former longtime NHL defenseman Adam Foote.
