Ryan Nugent-Hopkins remains the the top-ranked prospect for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Nugent-Hopkins, who topped the 100-point plateau this year with the Red Deer Rebels, has been a mainstay a top Future Considerations’ draft chart in 2011 after wrestling the position from Drummondville Voltigeurs forward Sean Couturier.
Couturier, the only other player to be ranked first this season, sits second. Swedes Adam Larsson and Gabriel Landeskog and Niagara IceDogs defenseman Dougie Hamilton round out the top-5.
Northeastern defenseman Jamie Oleksiak jumped from the second round to 25th overall, while Leksand’s Victor Rask fell out of the first round to 49th.
