NHL postpones 2020 draft, scouting combine

The 2020 NHL Draft has been postponed due to the ongoing uncertainty resulting from the coronavirus, the National Hockey League announced Wednesday.

No new dates were announced for the draft as well as the 2020 NHL Scouting Combine, which was also postponed.

The 2020 NHL Draft was originally scheduled for June 26-27 in Montreal.

The combine was set for June 1-6 in Buffalo.

The NHL is also sorting out the details of the NHL Draft Lottery. The lottery was originally scheduled for April 9 at the NHL Network studios in New Jersey.
