The 2013 NHL Draft could be looking for a new date and time.

With a shortened lockout season that could extend to June 28th, the draft, originally scheduled for the same date, could see Day One be pushed back to Saturday, June 29th and concluding on Sunday, June 30th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Historically, the draft has taken place on a Friday/Saturday split since moving to a two-day format.

John Shannon of Sportsnet has reported the last day of the Stanley Cup Final would be June 28th, necessitating a move in the 2013 NHL Draft.
