FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CALGARY, AB — Future Considerations Hockey today announced Samuel Montembeault of the Blainsville-Boisbriand Armada as the Double Blue 360 draft eligible Goaltender of the month for November.

Montembeault had a standout month for the Armada, helping Blainsvwlle-Boisbriand to five wins in his eight starts. The 18-year-old goaltender held opponents to two or fewer goals six times in his eight starts and recorded a 1.83 goals against average and .920 save percentage in November.

“Earning the starters role this season after Etienne Marcoux’ graduation, Montembeault has done nothing but impress in the crease for the Armada,” Future Considerations scouting director Dan Stewart said. “His natural size at almost 6-foot-3, his athleticism, ability to track the puck and poise in the crease really shine through. He has quick legs and really covers the lower portion of net extremely well.”

Overall, the 6-foot-3, 166-pound goaltender is 12-5-4 this season with a 2.48 goals against average and .902 save percentage in 21 games played.

Also considered for the award was Connor Ingram of the Kamloops Blazers. Ingram posted a 2-2-1-2 record with a 2.53 goals against average and .916 save percentage. In nine appearances for Kamloops, Ingram recorded three games of 34 saves or more.
