Auston Matthews has been named to USA Hockey’s 21-man roster for its 2015 U.S. Men’s Select Team that will compete at the Deutschland Cup from Nov. 6-8 in Augsburg, Germany.

In 12 games with the ZSC Lions, Matthews leads the Swiss league with 10 goals, and is sixth in points with 15.

All 21 players on the roster are currently participating in European elite leagues in Finland, Germany, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland. The 18-year-old Matthews, projected to be the top pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, is the youngest player on the roster by seven years. Matthews missed the 2015 NHL Draft cutoff by two days.

Matthews had eight goals and 15 points in seven games at the IIHF World Under-18 Championship last year and two assists and three points in the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship.
