Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, one of the top goaltenders eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft, could miss the next four weeks due to pneumonia, according to NHL.com.
The 17-year-old HPK goaltender has a .929 save percentage in 11 games in the Jr. A SM-liiga this season.
Luukkonen helped Team Finland to gold at the 2016 IIHF World Under-18 Championship last spring, and was named to the all-tournament team after posting a 2.00 goals against average and .917 save percentage. He was also named a top-3 player on Team Finland.
He also represented Finland at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial in August.
