Horvat named Ferda Hockey Forward of the Month

Future Considerations announced today Bo Horvat of the OHL’s London Knights has been named Ferda Hockey draft eligible Forward of the Month for December.

In 11 December games, the Rodney, ON product found the back of the net eight times and assisted on seven more for 15 points and extended his point streak to 12 games. Heading into the month, Horvat had 10 goals and 18 points in 28 games and now sits at 18 goals and 33 points in 39 games this season.

Horvat’s December has helped the Knights to one of the most impressive runs in Canadian Hockey League history. London has pushed its winning streak to 24 consecutive games thanks in part to Horvat’s offensive exploits in December, which included two game-winning and two insurance goals.

For his performance, Horvat has been named Ferda Hockey draft eligible Forward of the Month for December.

Also considered for the award was Jonathan Drouin of the Halifax Mooseheads.

Drouin scored seven points in four games for the Mooseheads before departing for Ufa as a member of Canada’s entry in the World Junior Championship. In four games, Drouin has two goals and four points and is a plus-5.
