Goalie Demko added to USA Hockey camp

Thatcher Demko is set to go camping.

The National Team Development Program goaltender is the only 2014 NHL Draft eligible netminder invited to USA Hockey’s National Junior Evaluation Camp, held in Lake Placid, NY from August 3-10th.

Demko helped the United States to a silver medal finish at the 2013 World Under-18 Championship, going 3-3 with a 2.24 goals against average and .899 save percentage while recording one shutout.

In 19 games with the NTDP, Demko had a 2.21 goals against average and .902 save percentage.

Demko joins Anthony DeAngelo as the only players in camp eligible for 2014.
