Future Considerations announced today Zachary Fucale of the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL has been named draft eligible Goaltender of the Month for December.

Fucale went undefeated in the month of December, posting a 6-0-0 in seven starts for the Mooseheads with a 1.99 goals against average and .908 save percentage. The Rosemère, QC product allowed more than two goals just once in December, helping lead Halifax to a 31-3-1-1 record – tops in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

In 29 games this season, Fucale has a 24-3-0-1 record with a .899 save percentage. His 2.41 goals against average is second-best in the league.

Also considered for the award was Jake Patterson of the London Knights. Patterson, named draft eligible goaltender of the month for November, posted a 3-1-0-1 record with a  2.42 goals against average and a .925 save percentage.
