Before hockey’s next wave is drafted at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft this June in Pittsburgh, they’ll be poked and prodded in Toronto.

In all, 105 of the draft’s top prospects will assemble there at the end of May for the NHL Draft Combine.

Among them is Nail Yakupov, who has consistently been ranked a top Future Considerations’ list for the draft. Yakupov will be joined by Sarnia Sting teammate Alex Galchenyuk, who spent much of the season recovering from knee surgery. Morgan Rielly, who like Galchenyuk was sidelined for most of the season, will also be in attendance.

NHL executives will also get a closer look at Europeans Filip Forsberg, Teuvo Teravainen and Sebastian Collberg.
