The rough start for 2012 NHL Entry Draft eligible defenseman Griffin Reinhart continues.
The six-foot-four Edmonton Oil Kings defenseman has been suspended indefinitely by the Western Hockey League Thursday after receiving a major penalty for kneeing and a game misconduct at 4:28 of the third period in the team’s win over the Kootenay Ice.
The length of Reinhart’s suspension is to be determined after the league reviews the play. It is the first suspension of his WHL career.
The North Vancouver, BC. native has two assists in five games this season.
